Teacher or Researcher?
Attended Prof. KL Chan's inaug. lecture
It was as good as his bedside teaching
But how many teaching staff do really teach, instead of just concentrating on publishing journal article to extend their contract?
(Prof KL is an exception though)
I would like to be like Dr. GC instead of Prof KL...doing research is good, but I think transfer of skills and knowledge are more important.
By the way, doing clinical research is difficult, but innovation is another level, which is much harder, and fewer people can do it.
